The position
Well funded and growing quickly, Huddle is looking for a talented, motivated and dedicated Senior Developer to join our rapidly expanding team at its Bermondsey office. Reporting to the Head of Development, and working closely with a Lead Developer, this position has the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Developing high quality C# code, complete with NUnit tests
- Working as a senior member of a cross functional team comprised of C# Developers, UI Developers and QA Engineers
- Making technical design decisions in line with department standards and strategy
- Playing a key role in driving improvements in the areas of technology and process
- Mentoring more junior team members to help them produce output of the highest possible quality
- Contributing product ideas and working with the Product Team to help refine requirements.
- Working with QA to define appropriate test cases and fixing any bugs found during QA testing
- Working with the UI team to integrate business logic and presentation
- Supporting the live web site as required
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 6+ years’ experience designing, developing and maintaining large-scale ASP.net web applications
- 2+ years’ experience working with Scrum, XP or a similar Agile methodology
- Expert level knowledge of C#, ASP.net 2.0 with Webforms and MVC, SQL Server, and XML / XSLT
- Significant commercial experience using NHibernate, IIS 7 and Windows Services
- Knowledge of Javascript (experience of JQuery is useful), XHTML , CSS and DOM scripting
- A genuine passion for ‘web 2.0’ in general; and elegance, usability and web standards in particular.
